Ali Anderson is a passionate entrepreneur, author, and advocate for American-made craftsmanship. As the owner of Dakota Foundry, a leading grey and ductile iron foundry, Ali is dedicated to producing 100% American-made castings, Iron Warrior fitness equipment, patented farming products, and custom prototypes. With a commitment to quality, innovation, and preserving the skilled trades, she leads her team in delivering solutions that meet the toughest industrial demands.
Before entering manufacturing and publishing, Ali built a successful career at the prestigious firm Accenture Consulting, where she helped Fortune 100 brands navigate complex organizational changes. Her experience in managing large-scale transformations, improving operational efficiency, and fostering resilient cultures now informs her leadership in both the industrial and creative sectors.
Ali is also the founder of Steam Stories Publishing and the creator of the beloved children's book series Billy the Boiler, which sparks young readers' imaginations through the world of steam engines and machinery. Through her work, she inspires future generations to value hard work, creativity, and American industry.
A strong supporter of workforce development, Ali champions non-profit programs like the Iron Warrior Academy, providing hands-on training in welding, foundry work, and metal fabrication. Guided by the principle of "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another" (Proverbs 27:17), she fosters community, mentorship, and excellence.
Ali's leadership blends corporate strategy with entrepreneurial grit, as she works to strengthen both the industries she serves and the families she supports. Whether innovating in manufacturing or storytelling, Ali is driven by purpose: to build, to teach, and to leave a lasting legacy.
She currently lives in Lakeside, Montana with her husband, Kory Anderson, and two daughters, Selah & Livvy.
