Meet the Author, Ali Anderson
Ali Anderson is an entrepreneur, author, and champion of American-made craftsmanship. She owns Dakota Foundry, (a Top 100 Small Business in America by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce) producing 100% U.S.–made iron castings, Iron Warrior fitness equipment, patented farming products, and custom prototypes. With a focus on quality, innovation, and preserving the skilled trades, she leads her team to meet demanding industrial needs.
A former Accenture Consulting leader, Ali guided Fortune 100 companies through complex transformations, experience that now fuels her strategic, people-centered leadership across manufacturing and publishing. As founder of Steam Stories Publishing and creator of the children’s series Billy the Boiler, she inspires young readers to explore machinery, creativity, and the value of hard work. Ali also champions workforce development through the Iron Warrior Academy, offering hands-on welding and metalworking training rooted in Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
Blending corporate strategy with entrepreneurial grit, Ali is driven to build, teach, and strengthen American industry. She lives in Lakeside, Montana, with her husband, Kory Anderson, and their daughters, Selah and Livvy.
